Joomla support from an agency that still knows Joomla.
Most agencies dropped Joomla years ago. We did not. Upgrades from Joomla 3 and 4 to Joomla 5 or 6, security cleanups, redesigns, SEO, and plain advice on when it is time to move to WordPress.
Infinite Ideas Web Design provides Joomla web design, upgrades and support across Canada from Calgary. Typical work: upgrading Joomla 3 and Joomla 4 sites (both past end of life, since August 2023 and October 2025) to Joomla 5 or 6, cleaning hacked sites, redesigning templates, fixing SEO and speed, and migrating Joomla sites to WordPress when the business has outgrown it. Joomla rescues start at $1,490 CAD; upgrades are quoted after a free audit.

What we do with Joomla.
Joomla 3 and 4 to Joomla 6
Joomla 3 lost security updates in August 2023 and Joomla 4 in October 2025. We migrate content, users, extensions and templates to Joomla 5 or 6 without losing URLs.
Security cleanups
Hacked or spammed Joomla site? We clean, patch, harden and monitor. Then we keep it updated so it does not happen again.
Template redesign
A modern, fast, mobile-first template for your existing Joomla content. Keep what works, fix what looks dated.
Joomla SEO
SEF URLs, redirects, metadata, structured data, speed. We have rescued Joomla rankings that were quietly collapsing.
Extensions, chosen carefully
Forms, galleries, memberships, directories, eCommerce with HikaShop or VirtueMart. Only maintained extensions.
When to leave Joomla
If Joomla no longer fits your business, we migrate to WordPress with every page and ranking preserved. If it still fits, we say so and upgrade it instead.

Switchover, redirects checked, and an optional Care Plan so updates never get skipped again.
Straight answers.
The questions Calgary business owners ask us before signing. If yours is not here, ask on WhatsApp.
Is Joomla still supported in 2026?
Joomla 6, released in October 2025, is the current version, and Joomla 5 keeps receiving security updates until October 2027. Joomla 3 reached end of life in August 2023 and Joomla 4 in October 2025, so sites still on either version are running without security patches and should upgrade now.
Should I move from Joomla to WordPress?
Sometimes. If you struggle to find Joomla help, need modern integrations or want an easier editor, WordPress is usually the better long-term home. If your Joomla site does its job and just needs updating, an upgrade is cheaper. We tell you which after the audit.
How much does a Joomla upgrade cost?
Simple sites upgrade for $1,490 to $3,000 CAD. Sites with many custom extensions, memberships or eCommerce run $3,000 to $8,000. The free audit gives you a fixed number.
Can you fix a hacked Joomla site?
Yes. We clean the files and database, patch the entry point, harden the site and set up monitoring. Most cleanups take 24 to 48 hours.
Do you work with clients outside Calgary?
Yes. Joomla clients come to us from across Canada and from Latin America, because few agencies still offer serious Joomla work. Everything is done remotely.
