A therapeutic massage practice in Maldonado Centro, Uruguay, offering seven modalities from relaxation to lymphatic drainage. A calm, fast, hand-built site that turns a menu of services into WhatsApp bookings. Bookings from the site went up 86%.
The challenge
Wellness sites tend to be slow, vague and full of stock photos of stones. This one needed to be quick, clear about modalities, durations and prices, and let people book by WhatsApp, which is how Uruguay books everything. It also had to explain where the practice is (inside Espacio Om in Maldonado Centro) to people who search "masajes Maldonado" from Punta del Este and the surrounding area, many of them visitors who do not know the town.
What we did
We built a light, hand-coded site with a clear service menu, WhatsApp booking with a pre-filled message per service, local SEO for Maldonado and Punta del Este, and the plain answers that get a practice cited by AI assistants.
A service menu that answers the three questions
What is it, how long is it, what does it cost. Seven modalities, from relaxation and deep tissue to lymphatic drainage, each with a short description of what it is for, sessions of 30, 60 and 90 minutes, and the price next to each. No "contact us for pricing". The visitor decides on the page.
Booking by WhatsApp, one tap per service
Each service has its own "Reservar por WhatsApp" button that opens a chat with the service and duration already written. The therapist confirms the time from her phone. This single change is behind the 86% rise in bookings that come through the site.
Calm design, fast page
Warm photography of the studio and the work, a quiet serif headline ("Un lugar para reencontrarte con tu cuerpo"), lots of space. Hand-coded, no page builder. Google mobile performance 87, SEO and best practices 100, largest contentful paint 3.2 seconds on a throttled mobile connection and well under a second on a normal one.
Local SEO for Maldonado and Punta del Este
The home page targets "masajes Maldonado" and "masajes terapéuticos Punta del Este", the drainage page targets "drenaje linfático Maldonado", and LocalBusiness structured data places the practice inside Espacio Om with hours and phone. Directions and parking are on the page, because half the visitors are tourists.
AEO and GEO
A plain answer block at the top of each service (what it is, who it is for, duration, price) and an FAQ with FAQPage structured data (first visit, what to wear, how to book, cancellations) give AI assistants exactly what they quote when someone asks for a lymphatic drainage massage in Maldonado.
